Dongfeng NAMMI Automotive Technology (Xiangyang) Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, which ranks among the world’s top 500 companies. In January 2024, the first mass-produced vehicle, the Dongfeng Nammi 01, was officially launched from the assembly line at the Xiangyang factory in Hubei Province. The Dongfeng Nammi 01 is the first model of Dongfeng Motor Corporation’s new small pure electric vehicle brand and marks Xiangyang’s first production project for new energy passenger vehicles. Additionally, it features an impressive wheelbase of 2,660mm, making it a leader in its class. It is equipped with frameless doors, full-automatic parking, remote parking, and a ten-in-one electric drive system, among other advanced features. Two endurance versions are available: one with a range of 330 km and another with up to 430 km. It also supports fast charging and slow charging options, along with an external discharge function. Following the start of mass production for Dongfeng Motor Corporation’s new energy passenger vehicles, plans are in place to produce up to 120,000 units annually, with projected sales exceeding 10 billion yuan. This initiative is expected to significantly contribute to the transformation and upgrading of Xiangyang’s automotive industry.
