Xiangyang Daily (Li Guibo, the All-media Journalist, and Sui Dan, the Correspondent) On October 27, the journalist learned from the Xiangyang factory of Dongfeng Yipai Automotive Technology Company that the 2025 World Intelligent Connected Vehicles Conference (WICV 2025) was recently held in Beijing. During this conference, Dongfeng Motor Corporation, along with its subsidiary Dongfeng eπ Nammi 01, participated in a dynamic demonstration and test drive experience showcasing the collaborative development and testing of vehicle-road-cloud integration between Chinese and foreign automotive companies. This event was jointly organized by Tsinghua University and the National Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Center, highlighting Dongfeng Motor Corporation’s latest achievements and cutting-edge capabilities in this field.

The vehicle-road-cloud integration technology marks a new phase in the evolution of intelligent connected vehicles. China has taken the lead in proposing and implementing this technological roadmap on an international scale. Dongfeng Motor Corporation has been actively engaged in the technical research and validation of two integrated vehicle-road-cloud services: Cloud-supported Green Light Optimal Speed Advisory (C-GLOSA) and Cloud-supported Autonomous Emergency Braking (C-AEB). These initiatives aim to facilitate the mass production and deployment of the vehicle-road-cloud integration technology.
In the application scenario of C-GLOSA, the Dongfeng eπ Nammi 01 completed 12 consecutive tests over a 3-kilometer test section, which included 7 signalized intersections. The vehicle achieved 3 uninterrupted passes throughout the entire journey, representing a remarkable increase of 200% compared to its performance in single-vehicle intelligent mode. Additionally, it required only one stop during 9 instances, reflecting an improvement of 125%. Notably, there were no occurrences of two or more stops throughout the entire route. In the demonstration of C-AEB application scenarios, the Dongfeng eπ Nammi 01conducted tests across various speed conditions. It achieved a commendable success rate of 100% in obstacle avoidance and was able to decelerate smoothly to a safe stop. This fully validated the significant value that this technology offered in enhancing driving safety within complex environments.
It has been reported that during the event, Dongfeng Motor Corporation presented two representative application scenarios: C-GLOSA and C-AEB, with the Dongfeng eπ Nammi 01 involved in research and development. This marked a significant milestone in the industry as it was the first instance where functions related to the cloud control basic platform had been directly integrated into the vehicle’s intelligent driving system for public verification and demonstration.
