Xiangyang Daily (Li Guibo, the All-media Journalist, and Feng Nan, the Correspondent) On December 9, the journalist learned from the Xiangyang High-tech Development Zone in Hubei Province that at the AERO Asia 2025, held in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, AVIC Aerospace Life-Support Industries Ltd. (referred to as AVIC Aerospace Life-Support) showcased four major categories of products: the whole-aircraft parachute system, crashworthy seats, firefighting buckets, and life rafts.

The whole-aircraft parachute system serves as a critical safety device capable of executing rescue operations in emergencies where conventional emergency procedures fail to ensure the aircraft’s safety. As a vital safeguard for light sports aircraft during airborne emergencies, this system is designed to deploy the parachute, decelerating the aircraft in distress. Simultaneously, the attitude of the aircraft will be adjusted through the sling components of the rescue system to facilitate a safe landing posture, ultimately ensuring both human and machine safety during recovery operations.

A crashworthy seat is a safety device utilized in aircraft during normal takeoff, landing, and flight to provide passengers with a secure means of sitting or resting on board. This device offers essential constraints that help prevent injuries resulting from factors such as vibrations or overloads that could lead to falls and collisions. In the event of a survivable crash accident, the seat can effectively confine occupants to their seats, minimizing the impact forces exerted on their bodies. It achieves this by utilizing one or a combination of seat structure deformation and specialized energy-absorbing mechanisms, ensuring that the forces remain within the maximum tolerance range for human beings.

The firefighting bucket is primarily used for aerial firefighting operations conducted by helicopters. Its applications are extensive, encompassing aerial forest surveillance, forest and grassland fire control, and firefighting efforts in high-rise structures. This versatility positions it as one of the most effective modern tools for fire suppression.
The life raft is designed for collective survival after a multi-seat aircraft makes an emergency water landing. Once the aircraft successfully lands on water, the crew deploys the life raft, allowing occupants to board and stay afloat. Survival kits are used to support self-rescue while awaiting external rescue forces.
At the exhibition, numerous industry clients and partners highly commended the exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding performance of AVIC Aerospace Life-Support’s products, articulating a strong desire for future collaboration.
