(hereinafter referred to as Jiatai) in Xiangyang that the company has recently secured an order from Ethiopian Airlines for seats intended for 11 Airbus A350 wide-body aircraft. This marks a significant milestone as it is the first instance of “made in Xiangyang” aircraft seats entering the African market, representing a crucial step in its global expansion efforts.

Since the beginning of this year, Jiatai has achieved significant breakthroughs in securing overseas orders, with its clientele now spanning Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa. Its products are compatible with a variety of aircraft models, including the Boeing 737 MAX and the Airbus A320/A321 and A350 series. This development underscores the increasing global recognition of its offerings.

As a domestic enterprise with international airworthiness certification capabilities for onboard equipment—and one that already supplies aviation components to leading global commercial aircraft manufacturers—Jiatai has achieved world-class standards in research and development, testing and verification, airworthiness management, manufacturing, and quality control. It serves as a line-fit supplier for Boeing and Airbus while also providing passenger seats for China’s C909 and C919 aircraft.

Liu Jingfeng, Party Secretary and Chairman of Jiatai, stated that the company will continue advancing its “internationalization pivot” strategy, positioning overseas markets as its primary driver while steadily expanding its global presence. Simultaneously, Jiatai will maintain a strong emphasis on technological innovation by increasing investments in research and development and expanding into new markets. It aims to build a robust portfolio of independent intellectual property.
