Xiangyang Daily (Peng Yiwei, the All-media Journalist) On October 19, the Xiangyang Marathon will commence, bringing together runners from across China in Xiangyang, Hubei Province. To enhance the experience of participants and allow them to fully appreciate the rich heritage of “Chivalrous Xiangyang,” several scenic spots in Xiangyang will offer free admission and half-price discounts for the marathon participants.

From October 17 to October 20, a total of 24 scenic spots will offer free ticket discounts. These include the Huangjiawan Scenic Area, Migong Temple, the Lvying Screen Wall（King Xiang Residence）, Lumen Mountain, the Hengchong Scenic Area, the Liuzhuya Ecological and Cultural Tourism Zone, Daxie Mountain, and the Yanhe Rural Tourism Zone located at Wushan Town in Gucheng County. Additionally, the Cherry Blossom Valley Rural Leisure Tourism Zone in Laojun Mountain and the Fuchun Mountain Residence Tourism Zone will participate in this promotion. Visitors can also explore the Ancient City of Xiangyang during this period. Notable attractions include the Shan Maoqian Memorial Hall, Zhenhua Gate Military Culture Exhibition Hall, Zhongxuan Watch Tower Literature Museum, the Prince Zhaoming Achievement Exhibition Hall of the Prince Zhaoming Tower, and the Millennium Exhibition Hall of the Prince Zhaoming Tower. Tangcheng Scenic Area will be open free of charge on October 19.

From October 17 to October 20, a total of 13 scenic spots, including the China Han City, White Water Temple, the Ancient Stone Carving Grand View Garden, Tangzi Mountain, Temple of the White Bamboo Garden, the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, the Xiangshuihe Scenic Area, Jade Gorge, Water Mirror Mansion, the Fairy of Ninth Heaven Scenic Spot, the Wudaoxia Gorge Scenic Area, the Jiuluzhai Ecotourism Scenic Area, and the Yaozhihe Scenic Area, will offer a half-price discount. The discounted admission price for Fantasy Valley is set at 118 yuan per person, while the discounted price for Longzhong Scenic Area is 70 yuan per person (inclusive of sightseeing fees).

From October 21 to October 27, twenty scenic spots in Xiangyang will continue to offer free admission discounts for the marathon participants. Additionally, fifteen scenic spots will provide half-price ticket discounts. This initiative aims to capitalize on the post-event momentum generated by this marathon event.
