Birla Jingwei Fibres Co., Ltd. was founded on November 1, 2006 through Indian Aditya Birla Group’s acquisition of the shares of Hubei Jingwei Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. which was originally a sole investment company owned by Fujian Jingwei Group Co., Ltd. The company is situated in one of China’s charming cities and one of the technologically advanced cities—Xiangyang Fancheng Economy and Technology Development Zone. With a land area of 300 mu, its geographical location is quite advantageous with convenient traffic. The total asset is 390 million yuan. The company has the annual production capacity of 30,000 tons of viscose differential staple fiber and 15,000 tons of sodium sulfate. To the beginning of 2008, the company has succeeded to achieve the preliminary production capacity expansion plan of achieving an annual viscose staple fiber production capacity of 60,000 tons. In the next decade, this capacity will increase steadily by ratio to ultimately achieve a quantitative leap forward. Equipped with advanced processing equipment, our company adopts the production processing methods such as using domestic advanced secondary impregnation, large-volume yellowing machines to administer dry yellowing, and imports the internationally advanced KKF18 filter and CM3-30 fiber cutter from Lenzing of Austria. Our fiber refining and drying equipment are also leading domestic enterprises. The whole production process is under the automatic control system realized through our advanced computerized distribution control system (DCS). The main product of the company is the ‘Birla’ brand viscose differential staple fiber. The regular types include the cotton type, bright, plain white viscose staple fiber of 1.67dtex*38mm and 1.33dtex*38mm. Meanwhile, we can also customize and produce the cotton type, medium and long length, wool type fiber ranging from 1.11 to 5.65 dtex based on the customer’s needs. This product is a first rate raw material for the textile industry, and is an irreplaceable high-tech product, the development of which is highly recommended by the government. Our products are widely used in cotton spinning, wool spinning, etc. They can be used for either mono-fiber spinning or mixed fiber interweaving, and are high-grade raw materials for producing comfortable garments.
