Dongfeng Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. (DCEC for short or the “company”) is situated in the Xiangyang High-tech Development Zone in Hubei Province. This is a modern medium and heavy duty engine manufacturer built collectively by Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. and Cummins Corporation of the US with both sides holding 50% of equity. In 1986, Dongfeng Motor signed the B-series engine production license and agreement with Cummins Corporation. In June 1996, Dongfeng Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. was founded with the registered capital of 100 million US dollars. The company occupies a land area of 270,000 m² and has more than 2,200 employees.

The products include B, C, D, L and Z series of Cummins engines which can meet China’s V, VI emission standards and IV emission standard for non-road engines. The engine displacements include 3.9L, 4.5L, 5.9L, 6.7L, 8.3L, 8.9L, 9.5L and 13L with power output ranging from 80 to 680 Hp. Our engines are widely used in light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles, middle and high-end inter-city buses, large and medium commuter buses, construction machinery, marine main and auxiliary engines, power generator units and other fields.
