Pear and peach blossoms in Laohekou City have recently entered their peak viewing season, drawing tourist numbers to a seasonal high. In recent years, Laohekou City has leveraged its more than 50,000 mu of orchards to extend the agricultural industry chain and enrich its cultural and tourism offerings. Each year during the blossom season, Laohekou City attracts upwards of 2 million visitors, effectively stimulating growth in catering, accommodation, transportation, and other related sectors — converting “scenic beauty” into “economic output” and injecting powerful momentum into the county-level economy’s comprehensive social and economic development.
